Fairford Airshow Camping is a family run
campsite for all ages and is situated on Townsend Farm (Townsend Farm, Whelford GL7 4DY ).
Fairford Airshow Camping offers everything you could
want for your stay over the RIAT. It is about as close as you can get (600 metres) so the base is in easy walking distance.
The campsite resides in 5 large beautiful fields split with hedgerows so there is plenty of space to pick a spot where you want and set up your camp. The site will be open from Monday, the 2nd of July.

One way system
There is a colour-coded one way system operating on Saturday and Sunday. It lets people in in the Morning and out in the Evening. The best time to travel is mid-day or late evening. See route map and also details of bus and train access.

We are very lucky to sit right under the flight path so the view of the planes arriving and turning around is fantastic, so we are pleased to boast excellent park and view with facilities.
There are always very helpful, friendly staff on hand to answer any questions you may have. Please feel free to come in and out of the campsite as you please.
All in all Fairford airshow camping on Townsend farm is really a very special place to stay before, during and after the RIAT.
