There is a colour-coded one way system operating on Saturday and Sunday. It lets people in in the Morning and out in the evening.
We are on the RED route.The best time to arrive to the campsite is normally during the couple of hours between the change of direction at midday or around 7pm, after everyone has left the base, and the traffic is free flowing.
Fairford Airshow Camping on Townsend Farm is situated at the end of the red route, on the Left before you reach the T junction.

Frequent shuttle buses will leave Swindon Bus Station (close to the train station) for RAF Fairford, these buses travel along a specially designated route thus giving passengers a fast-track entry to the Airshow. Return tickets are priced at £5 for adults and £3 for children.
With fast, direct rail services to Swindon from London, Oxford, Wales and the West, the easiest way to arrive at the Air Tattoo is to catch a train to the town and then transfer to an express shuttle bus bound for RAF Fairford.
